Build a lawn plan
- Draw a rectangle by dragging. For a polygon, click each corner and double-click the last point. Press Escape to cancel an unfinished polygon.
- Add sprinklers near lawn edges or corners to snap them into place. New heads choose a cardinal arc and rotation from the lawn shape.
- Select a head to drag it or adjust its model, radius, sweep, and rotation. Select a lawn to highlight it and use Delete Selected Lawn.
- Use the lower-right zoom controls to view a larger or smaller lawn extent. At 50%, the canvas covers 200 ft by 160 ft.
Read the plan
- Operating Pressure defaults to 40 PSI. Select the actual regulated nozzle pressure to update published throw limits, GPM, and precipitation calculations.
- Hover anywhere on the drawing to see combined precipitation in inches per hour. Darker blue indicates higher precipitation.
- Balance is the lawn share within 70% to 130% of the lawn average. Blindspot Rate is the share below 25% of that average.
- Save or load the layout as JSON. Download PDF opens a printable plan; choose Save as PDF in the print dialog.
Installation tips
- Use head-to-head coverage: each head should reach the next head whenever the layout allows.
- MP Rotators are designed around regulated 40 PSI bodies such as Hunter PRS40.
- Use at least 3/4 in pipe where practical, then size pipe for flow and run length to control friction loss. Confirm the final design against local requirements and manufacturer data.
